They put us in the worst room and kept insisting they were fully booked; I stayed here before and never had such a terrible room.

All staff were welcoming and professional, striking the perfect balance of attentive without being intrusive; the room was glorious, spacious, well decorated, and the bedding and towels were good quality.

We booked two nights while attending my father’s funeral in the area, were upgraded to a beautiful room, and it was a lovely surprise at such a difficult time.

The building is beautiful, the room lovely, staff very friendly, and the grounds with peacocks are delightful; breakfast was great. The inclusive dinner was a little disappointing for me, though the rest of my group enjoyed it, and the pool was very pleasant, but it’s a shame there’s no hot tub.
