Hampton Inn & Suites Bloomfield Hills Detroit

“Good job and convenient location to Bloomfield hills, keego Harbor and Detroit events we had planned”

The location was convenient for the events we had planned, everything was within about 12 minutes. However, the breakfast utensils were plastic and non‑recyclable, they didn’t separate trash, compost, and recyclables, and the men’s bathroom and lobby toilet had problems on two of the three mornings we were there.

“Not happy”

Breakfast was served, but the room smelled like mildew, the TV remote didn’t work, and the front‑desk assistant told me to come back for new batteries instead of bringing them to me.

I appreciated the complimentary items like toothpaste and toothbrushes, and the extra breakfast choices—vanilla waffle batter, whipped cream, sprinkles, nuts, and raisins for oatmeal—were impressive. The all‑day coffee bar was a huge plus! 🙌 However, when we arrived after a long trip we were met by a very unpleasant front‑desk employee—no welcome, no smile, just rudeness—which ruined the start of our visit and was the biggest disappointment of the trip.

“Overall it was a good stay. I would stay there again.”

The room was very spacious, the bed comfortable, and it was clean. The furniture was quite uncomfortable, and we would have liked housekeeping to bring fresh towels and empty the trash; we had to fetch towels ourselves on the second day. The ice machine on our floor was broken.
