The owners were very friendly and welcoming, and the house is beautiful, remote, and very quiet. However, there was no proper shower, which I missed because I’m not used to a bath.

The property is magnificent, transporting you to another era, and the hosts are very welcoming. The room is spacious and comfortable. The breakfast could be a bit more indulgent—maybe pastries or homemade cakes? Ham?

The building is stunning, a peaceful, calm, and very beautiful place. The rooms are very comfortable and nicely decorated. Nature surrounds you, and the many animals—horses, donkeys, Scottish cattle, chickens, ducks—make you want to return. The hosts are charming and attentive.
