The pool surrounded by a field of sunflowers looked like a masterpiece! The welcome was superb, the overnight stay was very relaxing and it’s close to Montauban. Nothing to add.

The rural setting was attractive with lovely views and nearby walks. Our Dutch host Anya (Anja?) was charming and helpful and served a splendid breakfast on the terrace of the main house. We enjoyed watching her chickens’ antics. Her dog Fendi was endearing despite his best efforts to look and sound fierce. The accommodation wasn’t in the handsome main house but in an annex with little view. The shower room/WC was well equipped but was separated from the bedroom by only a curtain instead of a door, which was inhibiting! We thought it would be easier to find a decent evening meal nearby, but the recommended one had closed for holidays (September) and we ended up driving to a brasserie on a trading estate. Surprisingly okay, actually!
