Ba Be Jungle Houses

I booked because of customer demand, but when I arrived I had to call staff and wait a long time for someone to come down and pick up my luggage because I had to call in. The room price was very high compared to the average, even though we visited many places like Hagiang KS 4-star, had a buffet breakfast, and also stayed at Mương Thanh Luxury Cao Bằng. The breakfast was very cheap for the amount we paid for a room. One of my guests left an AirPods headset behind; after returning to Hanoi I called Mr. Thai but received no reply, then I called Trang and was told the headset was not found in the room. I mention this not to discuss the lost item itself but to express dissatisfaction with how the issue was handled and the lack of responsibility shown by the staff.

Location, the stylish room and tasty food, the quietness and the welcoming staff, plus the chance to go on local tours. A day trip to the cave is a must‑see; a stream runs inside the cave, a unique experience for those who aren’t afraid of walking.

“Exceptional”

The homestay was great, everyone on the team was friendly and welcoming. They happily cooked lunch and dinner for us, and breakfast was nice. The room was large with a balcony offering a view, and the pool area overlooking the lake was wonderful. It was a very relaxing spot and they had kayaks available for us.

The jungle retreat was beautiful. The rooms were clean, had air conditioning, and the hotel offered free kayaking. The pool and restaurant were nice. The on‑site dinner and breakfast were delicious, but there were no choices to pick from. Breakfast felt a bit greasy and wasn’t filling enough.

“Emplacement idéal et hôtel très agréable”

The lakeside location offers a stunning view. The pool overlooking the lake is pleasant after a long day. You can board at the hotel’s dock for a lake excursion (cave, temple, waterfall, meal). The hotel staff and guide are very friendly. They also provide bikes and kayaks. The meals become a bit repetitive if you stay for several nights.
