This B&B feels like stepping back in time, is exceptionally clean, and the host is lovely and helpful. We were a bit disappointed that the swimming pool was closed, but we found a nearby lake to swim in, so it worked out. A few fans in the rooms would have helped on a hot afternoon.

The vibe was great, but Google Maps misdirects you onto a side street; you really need to bring the map Victoria sends by email. The entrance is hidden between plants, a bit of a brown board peeks out through foliage.

What a lovely stay at this charming house. The room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless, surrounded by a beautiful setting and a large yard. Host Victoire was very welcoming and offered interesting activities around the estate. Highly recommended!

At least there was some minimum service, though the tea was low quality and the jam was missing. Orange juice came in a sewing‑needle glass. The house smelled like sewer, had no pool, and the parking was crowded. There were spider webs and the cleanliness was borderline. Too many thrift‑shop–style decorations made it feel dim, with no ventilation in the bathrooms. No outdoor garden furniture for breakfast. The price was outrageous, comparable to the 4‑star abbey hostel at the Celle (Ducas).

Le Domaine le Clos du PAVILLON is the perfect spot to unwind. Located in the middle of nature, the 17th‑century bastide features a spring‑fed pond and majestic trees. The authentic interior provides the expected comfort. In the garden, my dog and I enjoyed the surrounding hills. The owner welcomed us warmly and showed us the region’s beauties. We will definitely return with great pleasure.
