“Gute Lage aber nachts laut”
Central location, but at night there are noisy teenagers on the forecourt, next to an old library turned into a bar, which also stays noisy until midnight.

The spot is spot-on in the city, just a short walk from every top attraction. The rooms are roomy, spotless, and tastefully designed, and the fresh flowers add a nice touch. The breakfast spread is amazing! The only downside is that there’s no lift to the bedrooms, so you’ll need to carry your luggage up the stairs.

The location right in the Altstadt on Jesuitenplatz is great for exploring the old town or heading to the Deutsches Eck or the shipyard. The Görresplatz parking garage is a 5‑minute walk away and costs 20 € per 24 h, which is reasonable for the spot. If needed, we could have used a fridge in the room. Our room was on the 3rd floor without an elevator, so sleeping with the window open was practically impossible because the whole night there’s a noticeable noise level on Jesuitenplatz. The breakfast offered didn’t suit our taste (cooked dishes, soups), so we went out to breakfast in the neighbourhood.

The room was spacious, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the location in the Old Town is excellent. The bed was comfortable and the café downstairs served great food. A fan was available for circulation. The staff kindly carried our luggage up and down the spiral staircase at check‑in and check‑out, and we could store bags safely before and after our stay. I would definitely return! The only issue was noise from nearby restaurants until early morning on a weekend, and smoke drifting up made it necessary to shut the window, which made the room uncomfortable. The fan helped, and closing the windows effectively blocked out the sounds below.

Walking around is the only way to get around, but the location in the middle of the Altstadt is good. The only problem is that the luggage must be hauled from the parking garage to the hotel over cobblestones. The 54 steps to our roof‑room were a disaster for a person with operated knees. The view promised in the booking confirmation was a lie.
