The place is in a great spot and cheap, and the host was super communicative. The room was the top apartment/attic with low ceilings, so we kept bumping our heads, but it was still a nice room.

The location was the only decent thing. I arrived after the Camino and was shocked by the room: no proper duvet, the one in the closet smelled like a dead grandma, the rest was dirty, and the shower had black mold spots. The house is extremely noisy; I kept hearing the ceiling hit my head when someone moved in the room above. It’s outrageous—tourists are excluded… I won’t say more. Stay far away from this place.

The grey towels were fine and I liked having two pillows on each bed. The room smelled moldy, and there was a very, very strong scent that seemed to mask the real smell—maybe a big container of potpourri. The front desk wasn’t open all morning on my checkout day, so I couldn’t leave my luggage between checkout and my train departure. It was cold, and we had to use extra comforters that had no covers and were blood‑stained. The room had almost no overhead light and only one tiny lamp, so when it got dark we had to use our hiking headlamp just to see enough to pack. There was also garbage from a previous guest in one of the drawers.
