The surroundings are incredibly beautiful and the service is pleasant. However, some spots need repainting, and the balcony railing was covered in moss. It could use a wash; it didn’t feel completely fresh.

The rooms are located upstairs while the restaurant sits on the ground floor, and it only serves until 15 h, so there’s no evening noise; the hotel sits on a museum courtyard and is very quiet.
“Mysigt ställe och Miljö”
We stayed in Room 5, which was tidy, cozy, and had friendly staff in a quiet area. The breakfast was lovely, and we could sit outside on one of the patios and enjoy coffee. We couldn't find any major issues when we arrived late at Wij, except the fan felt a bit weak even at its highest setting, but that was a minor thing.

The room was pretty and inviting with a nice bed. The breakfast buffet was good, and you can get a snack in the evening if you want. The staff are very thoughtful and friendly.
