Only 30 minutes by car to the Eiffel Tower, Versailles is much calmer, free parking is easy and close to the palace, the room was fine and cleaned daily, and the reception was easy to reach.

The room was comfortable, clean, roomy, nicely decorated, and the shower area had enough space for wash bags; the staff were excellent, with the receptionist especially friendly and helpful. We didn’t use the hotel bar or restaurant, but they looked very appealing. The hotel sits near a large, modern shopping centre and several nearby restaurants and cafés. We took a taxi to the Palace of Versailles and walked back in about 40 minutes, a pleasant stroll. The hotel offers its own parking, with plenty of space and a barrier and CCTV that made it feel secure.

The only good thing about this hotel is the staff; the lady at reception was very nice and helpful. The building feels old, tired, out of date, and poorly furnished for a 4‑star hotel. The room was dull, smelly, with a child‑sized toilet seat and an AC that barely worked. We left after one night and will never choose this hotel again for a future visit to Versailles.
