“Overall I loved my stay”

What I liked about the property: * Location, location, location * As a solo female traveler I felt safe * The room was clean and, although small (3x3 m), it had everything I needed: comfy bed, comfy pillows, fridge, coffee machine, microwave, shower with excellent water pressure, toiletries, etc. * Smart TV with Netflix, BBC iPlayer, etc. * The staff, from reception to the cleaning lady, were all very helpful and polite. * It’s part of Nox Hotels. What I didn’t like: * The bathroom, especially the shower, needs some stain cleaning + general refurbishment * As other reviewers have said, the room was hot. Thankfully I could open the window day and night. There’s no air‑con and no fan. For mid‑late September I found it hot but bearable with the open window. I don’t think I would want to stay there in summer. * Once I requested my room to be cleaned. I left the room early in the morning and when I came back at 5 pm my room was still not cleaned.

“A hidden gem off Kensigton High Street”

The room was recently updated and the owners have tried to make the place feel modern and welcoming. The bed is comfortable and the location is excellent. Security is pretty good and the facilities are well provided overall. A full‑size fridge, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, coffee machine, and microwave add to the home comforts. The en‑suite is modern and well‑appointed. I would definitely stay here again. A few improvements would have made the stay perfect: reading lamps, proper bedside units, the microwave is too high up (above head height), the safe was not fixed, USB charging points by the bed rather than the wall unit. Minor details but things that could easily enhance the stay.

The spot is nice and the staff are friendly, but the rooms feel a bit cramped, which is fine for just one night.
