“Wonderful hotel in a majestic location with a wonderful host/owner”

The location of le Hotel la Pointe Percee is bang smack in the centre of the beautiful town of le Grand-Bornand nested in the Aravis Massif mountain range. A lovely hotel oozing with charm, big quiet rooms (even the one we had overlooking the central square), an exceptionally friendly owner who lives on site and is always willing to offer advice and address any questions you may have, a wonderful breakfast offered, a large (indoor and outdoor) restaurant on the ground floor with a very good selection of food (although only associated with the hotel due to its location) and secure bicycle storage. We loved every moment at the hotel and glad we picked it as a multi day stay on our 2026 Routes des Grande Alpes cycle ride. Highly recommended

The spot was perfect right in the village centre, the welcome was very friendly, and the breakfast was hearty.

Everything was top. The only downside was the lack of stairs.
