The location was fine, but we ended up sleeping in our car the first night because a rat skittered across the floor and woke us, and the second night smelled like fuel in the cabin. I’d rather camp outside than stay here again; the concept is cute but it needs serious maintenance and pest control.

From the start everything ran smoothly: check‑in was easy, the place was quiet and ideal for rest, and the proximity to mountains and trails added a special touch. The room matched the listing, was simple yet well kept, and had all the essentials for cooking. Nights were cold but the heater kept us comfortable. The location was convenient with grocery stores within walking distance. A nearby washing machine had a minor issue, but the manager fixed it quickly, and we appreciated the prompt response.

The space had everything we needed for a short stay and was easy to reach. However, it was confusing which areas were available to us; the site said you could drop off bags and lounge by the pool early, but we weren’t sure if the pool area was for all rooms or just the large unit with direct access. A clear binder would help. It didn’t ruin our stay.

I had a lot of writing to do, and the Writer's Room was perfect—cute, fully equipped, and I’d even consider living there. I didn’t use the main house or pool, but the view was lovely, and the location let me walk straight onto the Airport Loop Trail. It didn’t get 10/10 for cleanliness because ants and bugs occasionally entered, though it wasn’t a major issue. The portable AC cooled the room, but since it wasn’t facing the bed you needed extra fans to circulate the air at night; the tall standing fan kept shutting off, while the smaller ones worked better. The automatic lock took a minute to engage both ways, and sometimes I’d close the door thinking it was locked, only for it to pop open minutes later. That was the only thing that kept it from a perfect score for comfort.
