The Wi‑Fi was dead; the connection was extremely weak.

We had a great stay just 200 m from the beach, with restaurants, shops and cafés nearby. The room was large, clean, and had nothing to complain about.

The location was spot‑on, but we were annoyed that no credit or debit cards were accepted—only cash, and they also didn’t take dollars, which wasn’t mentioned anywhere. When we checked out, we tried to use the credit card details we’d entered during booking, but they refused and demanded cash, forcing us to scramble for money before our cab to Matara was waiting. The cab driver was helpful and friendly, taking us to a currency shop off our route just to assist us.

The stay was excellent; the spot is perfect—close to many nice cafés and only a short walk to the beach. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with good AC. Sashi was a kind and helpful host who ensured everything ran smoothly. I would definitely come back.
