The room is clean, the bathroom is shared but very clean. You can leave luggage at the station when you go climbing (I stayed another night on the return). Check‑in was simple, the staff were friendly. There are no stairs!

Very good value for money.

The location is decent, that’s all. Next time I go to Matsumoto, I definitely won’t stay here. 1. There’s luggage, no elevator, carrying it up to the 3rd floor is very hard. 2. There’s only one shared toilet and shared bathroom. 3. The room is really small, the bed is super hard and hard to sleep on. 4. Soundproofing is terrible, the neighbor’s room was watching TV at 5 am. 5. The air conditioning is bad, it’s hot in summer; you have to run it for several hours before it starts working. 6. The price isn’t cheap.
