The staff were very friendly, the room was spotless and the location superb, and they always helped with any questions, even making a couple of calls and assisting with language issues, but there is no elevator.

The location is great, just minutes from the metro; the staff are courteous, the room and linens smell nice, and they provide a toothbrush, toothpaste, and comb. Because the bathroom is shared and many people use it, it should be cleaned more often… but it is clean.

The place is excellent near the metro and city centre, the staff are very friendly and speak English, and they offered great advice on navigating the city’s transport system; highly recommended.

The hostel is handy, close to the B line and the hutongs, and the rooms are comfortable with air‑conditioning—just bring earplugs because the AC can be a bit loud at night. The beds are roomy, and you can rent a towel or use the cheap laundry service. The bathroom smelled awful and the showers were very narrow.

The spot is on a lively street not far from the city centre, which made getting around easy. Staff did fix issues when they came up, but they were pretty closed off and didn’t chat much. The shared bathroom down on the lower floor was dirty, the beds were uncomfortable, and the rooms showed clear signs of dampness. The location was the only real plus here.
