Don kept in touch, always checking if everything was fine or if we needed anything; the spot was lovely, spotless, and in a superb spot—definitely coming back!

Don is the ideal host; we felt welcomed, well taken care of, and super comfy. It was quiet, the bed was great, and the spot’s perfect for exploring eastern Auckland—bus stop close, beach and lookout just a short walk away.

I felt very comfortable. I arrived in AL in the evening; Don, the host, picked me up as a solo traveler at the central bus stop. He’s very kind, attentive, and cares about his guests. The lower floor is for guests, he lives upstairs. The kitchenette offers coffee, tea, water, and a fresh bottle of milk. Great location, and a scenic walk to the bus stop about 10 min. The bus goes regularly straight to the center. The quiet spot and the soft, comfy bed are perfect.
