I’m currently staying in the off‑season, so I probably got a slightly cheaper rate; the place itself is truly beautiful, set in green, quiet, well‑maintained and very clean, which is a big plus. However, I’m overall a bit disappointed because I chose this over a hostel and a yoga centre/retreat. I have a small private room, but I see little added value compared to a good hostel. The booking gives the impression that yoga is a key part of the stay, yet there are only free classes on Wednesdays and Thursdays; other classes cost an extra 90 AUD as a package. That’s surprising for a place that presents itself as a yoga centre. For comparison, my previous hostel offered free yoga every morning at 9 am. I can discuss the level, but if I’m paying more for a yoga centre, I’d expect daily yoga at least. I’m also bothered that breakfast is included, yet the coffee must be paid for separately, the sauna isn’t included, and lunch and dinner can also be booked for an extra fee. A place can decide what’s included, but for me the overall package feels off. When every extra service is billed separately, the retreat concept loses some of its appeal.
