In September we spent ten days at Masseria Surace and it was an unforgettable experience. The masseria is truly beautiful: a fairytale and an oasis of calm. Everything is spotlessly clean and hygienic. Because it is also a working farm, there are animals of their own roaming around, which is a lovely and authentic touch. Breakfast consists of delicious local products, a wonderful start to every day. The location is great too, a perfect base for exploring the area. The owner Pasquale and his girlfriend Tatiana are warm, lovely people who are incredibly helpful and always there for you. What stayed with us most was this unforgettable experience. On one of our last days, our car broke down at 7PM. Because the rental company noted an incorrect emergency number, we were left stranded without any help in a country with a huge language barrier. Without a second thought we texted them and told them our situation. Note: we did not ask for them to come pick us up, it was their first response to the situation. They called us and immediately came to help pick us up. That says everything about how they treat their guests: sincere and caring. We're really happy with our stay and so grateful for both of them. Before leaving, we bought some olive oil from their own olive trees, a lovely souvenir to take home. Thank you for everything Pasquale and Tatiana! Hopefully see you soon ❤️. Nothing

The place was beautiful, the pool was amazing, service was excellent, staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was spacious and clean, and seeing the farm animals was a nice bonus; nothing was lacking, it was perfect.

The location, the mix of sleep, a big pool, and farm activities were great, and it’s centrally located; the air‑con makes a lot of noise, it sounds like water is constantly running, but otherwise top!
