Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was the best.

Everything was excellent, but I had a few personal issues.

The staff really stood out; everyone we interacted with was incredibly kind, understanding, and did everything possible to resolve the problems we ran into. They arranged dinner and snacks for us, let us check out late, and even covered the parking fee. I was grateful for how they handled everything. On the downside, the hotel itself had several problems. The elevators were very slow and often skipped floors, and other guests complained about the same issue during our stay. The biggest headache was the scheduled maintenance on our second day that shut off water to the entire building for about five hours. We weren’t informed at check‑in; a notice was slipped under our door the night before. Traveling with two kids, having no working bathroom for five hours was a huge inconvenience. There was no clear plan or alternative restroom arrangements, so we had to leave the hotel just to use a bathroom. Maintenance is necessary, but shutting off water to the whole hotel for five hours without a proper guest plan—especially for families—should have been communicated before or during check‑in. The food was decent, but room service was a letdown for an Embassy Suites. Everything arrived in takeout containers with plastic silverware, whereas other Embassy Suites we’ve stayed at serve room service on proper plates with metal utensils, so this felt like a downgrade. The hot tub was out of service and seemed to be permanently filled in with concrete. Our room was standard and had a cute little balcony, which we were excited about, but there were so many spiders that we couldn’t realistically use it. Parking cost $10 per night; they eventually covered the charge for us, which I appreciated, but charging guests separately for parking at a hotel they’re already staying at still feels excessive. Again, I can’t say enough good things about the staff. They were kind, professional, and genuinely tried to make things right.

The air conditioner was hard to operate and got so cold that I had to turn it off completely. I didn’t like the open layout from the room to the bedroom or the bathroom door.
