I've stayed here many times and each visit has been fantastic; what really sets it apart are the owners, who run the place. I live in Peru and come here for Zoom meetings and interviews, and when my Wi‑Fi in the room—usually reliable—was weak one time, they escorted me to their private office and let me use it all day. They're incredibly kind and ready to help with anything, so I can't recommend this hotel more highly.

Tours are arranged superbly, there's a roof terrace, and the breakfast is good. The room is quite small and the breakfast is also quite small.

The location is central, with good restaurants nearby and shops. The Jacal includes breakfast that isn’t very varied, but it was fine for my short stay of a few days 40 min from the airport. Overall everything was fine.

The location was great, activities were low‑priced, and the staff were very friendly. It’s the place to be in Huaraz.

The location is excellent, close to the square and to many agencies and markets. The bathroom has a hot shower and the rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. They also kept my belongings while I trekked the Huayhuash. There’s a terrace with a beautiful view. The acoustics aren’t the best, and I was unlucky to hear extremely loud music at the front restaurant, but they were kind enough to move me to another room. If you’re sensitive to noise, ask for a room away from the street.
