The reception was very warm and we felt right at home immediately. Everything was super clean and cozy, every detail had been considered. Although it wasn’t close to restaurants, that was easily solved for us. We arrived by bike, then the host drove us to the lovely town of Durbuy, and along the way we received a lot of useful information about Durbuy and the surrounding area.

The setting was gorgeous, the décor stylish, and the room was plenty roomy. The only downside was that the walls let in a lot of noise.

This is exactly what a B&B should feel like – warm, friendly welcome, clear rundown of the living room, garden, and rooms. Breakfast was varied, lovingly prepared with a smile by the host. The place radiates calm, keeps authentic touches, and is super cozy. The only thing that slipped was how quickly the time flew by.

Monsieur Doute sits nicely close to Durbuy and other charming spots, yet it’s wonderfully quiet. Nadia and Gert go above and beyond to make guests comfortable. The only note is that the Aurelie room has a separate entrance from the outside, which might be a bit tricky for those with mobility issues – it wasn’t a problem for us.
