“A stylish, cosy and secluded retreat in Cape Town”

I can’t recommend this place highly enough! We spent 4 wonderful days here. It’s such a cosy, charming place, tucked away in a beautiful, peaceful location with stunning views. Maika and the entire team were incredibly lovely, welcoming and friendly. It was always a pleasure to have a chat with them. An absolutely wonderful place to stay if you’re visiting Cape Town. We loved every minute of it!

“Charmantes historisches Haus in ruhiger Lage”

The Arcon House sits in a quiet neighborhood yet taxis and Uber get you into town quickly, and the view of Table Mountain is beautiful. Because of its size, the house feels more family‑like and welcoming, the perfect spot to unwind after a city trip or a sightseeing tour. Its charm lies in its history, the creaking floors, windows and doors, and the sense that you’re in a special place; everything is tastefully furnished and you feel comfortable right away. Breakfast was generous and offered many options. Maike and Stefan gave us valuable tips, and we immediately visited a charming café across the street with friendly service and a great selection. Overall, I highly recommend the Arcon House, even though there were a few initial hiccups… Unfortunately, after a delayed flight we arrived a day later than planned and did not receive the room we had booked, which was very frustrating. After consulting with the owner, the situation was resolved, but we had imagined a different welcome after a tiring journey.
