Third time in Cumberland and still love it – the riding Fool is just right for us. The only thing that put a damper on it was hearing the hostel had been damaged by a recent fire. Still, we’re happy to keep coming back.

The old building feels solid with its wooden floors, and the beds and bathrooms are top‑notch. I liked the kitchen being fully equipped and the room codes instead of keys. Kids can get loud, though – a door to the common area would help when others need quiet.

The hostel’s facilities are clean and well kept, and the rooms are comfy. Check‑in was smooth and the bike wash was a nice touch, plus the location in Cumberland is perfect. The room was a bit tight, and there’s no bike lock – we had to leave our bike in the car because the lobby spot felt unsafe.

The room, kitchen and bathrooms were spotless, and the building itself is in great shape. It’s right in town, so everything’s close by. I didn’t realize the room didn’t have a bathroom – my bad – but I still recommend it highly.
