Breakfast was authentic Japanese, and the room and hot spring facilities were very clean. The room had heating, so the cold weather was no problem and the Japanese style was comfortable. The transport was inconvenient: a single person could not arrange a shuttle to Iwawara Ski Resort or the shuttle point at the base of Iwawara Mountain, even though it’s only an 11‑minute walk, because carrying skis and snowshoes made it difficult. No shuttle to Echigo-Yuzawa Station was available, only a taxi call, making travel really inconvenient. When we asked for transport information before arrival via Booking, the staff gave no reply, which can be risky for first‑time visitors.

The owner is friendly and cute, the environment is cozy and warm, and the plum wine is delicious 😋. No complaints.

The breakfast (ordered separately) was fantastic—an authentically Japanese breakfast that I really liked, and the front desk staff were all very friendly.

有接送雪場服務，距離岩原雪場可以走路到. 因距離車站比較遠，且沒接送車站服務，要住這裡要協調有接送旅店的雪具店
