“Amazing!”

Everything was great, frogs George and George Jr. from the Ginger Treehouse were very pleasant and visited us every night. The location is dreamy and chill. The breakfast is good. The owner is very attentive and will assist you with anything you might need. We had a plane to catch 🥺

Roots was a truly unique stay during our 2-week honeymoon in Bali. We chose the accommodation because we felt it offered something a little different and was in a decent location for exploring. We stayed in the Banyan treehouse, and we cannot fault it. The accommodation was very clean, and we had our own resident frog living in our bathroom who we called Gerald. We were sad to say goodbye to him. The staff at Roots were very friendly and were happy to accommodate us when we turned up late to breakfast one day. Also, as the menu for evening food is limited, we ordered a grab takeaway one evening which we ate at the bar area and this was no issue for the staff. Due to the nature of staying in a treehouse there was limited space for storing clothing and also it could be quite creaky and noisy. I personally found this difficult to sleep through as I am a light sleeper but it did not stop my husband. Overall, it did not detract from our stay but is a note for light sleepers out there to be aware of

We had a very nice stay; very quiet; we could relax very well; we felt very comfortable and everything was very personal, especially the owner was very friendly and personal; the food was also particularly good, cooked fresh on site; highly recommend staying there.

The vibe of this place was amazing; tucked in a forest, surrounded by nature, it had a beautiful rustic feel. The wooden room made the stay feel like a little escape into the jungle—simple, cozy, and really special. I would definitely come back!
