“Apart from a few issues that could be fixed, it is a hotel I would choose to visit again.”
Despite its very central location, it isn't noisy; the garden area is delightful—a peaceful spot to enjoy your morning coffee—and the breakfast is quite adequate. I received a complimentary upgrade to a double room, and having a balcony was a nice touch. There was a bidet in the bathroom; even without a standard bidet spray, having a bidet is highly appreciated. There is a taxi stand right across the street, which is very important for a tourist. I was welcomed and seen off with a smile, but the real highlight was Ms. Sandra. She is a true professional with a friendly demeanor. As you know, tourists don't always receive such friendly service in Balkan countries. I want to extend a special thank you to her for her kind gesture. The minibar was making a lot of noise, so I unplugged it before going to sleep. However, the reason I’m deducting two points is that the towels—while meant to be white—had turned somewhat grey; more importantly, they still had dirt and stains on them, and the replacements I requested were in the same condition. The towels really need to be replaced. The second reason for the deduction is definitely the shower tray; it has no enclosure. There is no mount to hold the showerhead, so you have to hold it by hand while the entire bathroom gets flooded with water. It was an extremely uncomfortable experience—perhaps this could be taken into account and improved. Also, I don't think the air conditioning had been switched to heating mode; as you know, the Balkans get very cold, especially in the evenings and at night. I was shivering after I got out of the shower
