The property was distinctive, the room spacious, and the breakfast outstanding. The champagne‑themed dinner fell short of the property’s standard, was expensive for the quality of the food used, but acceptable for the drinks.

Castello di Semivicoli, a 17th‑century Masciarelli family castle perched on Abruzzo’s rolling hills, features uniquely decorated rooms with parquet floors, air‑conditioning, and eclectic antique‑modern furnishings; select suites include spa baths. Guests enjoy panoramic countryside views, an on‑site wine shop, and personalized wine tastings at the bar. The property lies 30 km from Passo Lanciano ski slopes and a 20‑minute drive from the Adriatic Coast.

The serenity, the rich history, and the breathtaking valley views from the castle.

Fantastic location, rooms were meticulously furnished and spacious, quiet, surrounded by spectacular greenery, and both the interior and exterior were well cared for. The staff were insufficient and not very qualified.

The place is gorgeous and runs smoothly, but the pool shuts down from 15th September—what a pity!
