The staff at the front desk were very friendly and pleasant, the bedding was comfortable, and the breakfast varied. The room wasn’t cleaned daily, so the bed wasn’t made and the towels weren’t changed; we had to run to the front desk the next day to get fresh ones. The room faced the highway, making it quite noisy with all the traffic, and it’s a fair distance from Nashville; with traffic it can take more than 30 minutes to get there.

It was my second stay at the property, and it’s definitely one of my go‑to hotels in the city. The only downside was the $50 deposit, which I feel is too high for a one‑night or even a two‑night stay, since most guests aren’t in the room long enough to cause damage.
