The staff were friendly, from check‑in to asking about breakfast. We could store bags before and after check‑in, so no heavy lifting. Free tea or coffee and a fridge stocked with alcohol were appreciated, and the drink‑registration system let you pay at checkout. You could relax in the lounge anytime, and there was a covered sitting area on the deck near our cabin. Our room was exactly what you'd expect from a boat: cosy and well equipped. This was the third boat at this spot we stopped at, and it was definitely the best value for money. We’d book again. Nothing really negative.

The location was convenient, about a 15‑minute walk from Amsterdam Centraal and within easy walking distance of many central areas. The communal dining area was clean. The lady who greeted us on arrival was excellent, very friendly, spoke very good English and immediately changed our room when the first bathroom had a strong sewage smell. The gentleman who owns the boat was also very helpful when we lost our door card and needed letting back in after 10 pm. The accommodation is shown as basic in the photos, but it is difficult to appreciate just how small the rooms are until you arrive. Ours had two small single beds, a very small wardrobe, a fan and no bin, with very little space beyond that. Cleanliness could also have been better, particularly the duvet and floors. Before arrival we were told there would be a €25 charge for each hour after 10 pm and that they felt “compelled to wait for us”, despite us having provided our flight and arrival details when booking, which was not a particularly welcoming start. Breakfast was very basic, consisting of cereal, coffee from flasks and eggs or pancakes cooked to order. My pancakes were thick and bland and my wife’s eggs had a very strong garlic flavour. The main entrance closes at 10 pm and we were charged €10 for replacing a lost door card. Our first Uber driver also took us to the wrong boat, so it is worth checking the exact location carefully.

“Excelente”

Ha sido una experiencia maravillosa , la atención a sido lo mejor el desayuno era abundante y variado la chica que nos a atendido era muy amable . Recomendamos este alojamiento por la sencillez y el cuidado del personal para con sus huéspedes . También destacar que podías comer fruta hacerte un té o un café tomar agua en cualquier momento del día sin duda repetiremos gracias 🙂 también destacó la ubicación era muy cerca a la estación central

The location was perfect. The room had everything we needed. The outdoor space and indoor seating area were lovely for evenings. The staff were friendly and treated the place like home. Coffee, tea and fruit were available 24/7. I loved the whole experience, but keep in mind it’s still a boat, so it was a bit noisy when other guests came home after we went to bed early, just because it’s a small space, but just be prepared.
