We liked the secluded location with fantastic views, eating breakfast in the sun, and the room was fresh and spacious. The kids enjoyed being able to play outside, pet the cat, and watch the chickens.

What a gem of a stay! The view over the fields, Kivik, and the sea gave Bästekille Gårdshotell a golden touch to our Skåne visit. It was so nice to escape the bustle of Kivik and experience the calm at this lovely, rustic accommodation. The large, clean room had a comfy bed and plenty of space for packing and our dog. Every morning a friendly host served a tasty breakfast. The garden was blooming with a henhouse, cows, and a cat. For us it was the perfect starting point for hiking along Skåneleden.

Breakfast was superb. Our one‑year‑old loved the environment, and the hens, chicks, and cows were a hit. It was also very child‑friendly with swings and a climbing tree. The hosts were wonderfully welcoming throughout our stay. I have nothing to complain about.

They never showed up, and the booking was cancelled by the location/booking.
