“Estancia tranquila...”
The room met expectations, and the reception staff were friendly and welcomed us even though we arrived outside the scheduled time. It’s relatively close to Tizimín’s center by car. The white walls mean any stain or moisture shows up quickly, but the room looked tidy and arranged. The bathroom had hot water and Wi‑Fi worked. The TV remote didn’t work well; some buttons were unresponsive, and after leaving the TV box it stopped working entirely. I’d recommend it for a night or a break before continuing the trip. The parking area was small; when we arrived it was occupied, so we were parked behind another car that was already there. The place still needs a bit more polish and construction. At reception there were packaged children's toys on display, and there was a jar of condoms—odd to have that on show. We were traveling with minors, so I don’t understand why that was there. In the street they had removed the sign that the rooms were once rented by the hour; I think it had a different use before, but they should either add another blanket or relabel if they’ve changed categories.
