The staff were friendly and welcoming, the location was excellent, and the renovation was good. The bathroom surprised us with a spacious shower. They kindly upgraded us from a luxury room to a family room (a pricier option) instead of the standard one, and the owners offered a larger room with one big and one small bed after we asked about fitting three people (including a child). That was a pleasant gesture. I recommend it. As a suggestion, they could serve boiled coffee tomorrow or provide a coffee machine. The hair dryer didn't work, but we managed without it; I'm sure they'd provide it if we asked.

The “free parking” was only available on one side of the street, where finding a spot was practically impossible. The staff were unhelpful in resolving this. Breakfast was average, and the rooms were okay.

The room was fresh, newly renovated, very clean and comfortable, and it was close to the metro.

We booked a twin room with a balcony, expecting two beds, a seating area with a table and chairs, a balcony, and a private bathroom based on the photos and description. Instead, we received a room with just two beds and a bathroom. We had paid online in advance, but the staff gave the room we booked to other guests. Initially they claimed it was for our benefit, but I don't see how; both rooms had two single beds pushed together. Then they said we had booked the wrong room. We booked for two adults and one child, the site showed several options, and we paid for one. The only help offered was to cancel and refund. We had just spent five hours on the road with a child, it was City Day, and they suggested we find another hotel. We stayed, but the hotel left no positive memories.

The room we booked and paid for was already occupied, so we had to wait until the next day to move in. Instead of an apology or even a small compensation, we were told the manager was not present and would deal with it later. The same line was repeated at checkout, and we still haven’t received any response. A pity. Otherwise the hotel is nice.
