I booked this place for two adults and two teenage kids, and it turned out to be just right. We slept well, with a mild breeze and no mosquitoes. The covered veranda had a lovely, almost terrace‑like spot overlooking the beautiful rose‑tree garden. The only hiccup was a small technical glitch that wasn’t really annoying and could be fixed easily.

The accommodation was very pretty and clean. Being in the city centre meant everything was close by, and we were very satisfied with it.

The place was neat, tidy, and offered a great price. However, there were a lot of unrealistic house rules that made it feel more like a training camp than a place to relax. The tap didn’t provide hot water and the water pressure was minimal. The spare bed was quite uncomfortable. Most of all, everything was strictly dictated—what to do, where to put things, etc.—which made it impossible to manage a guesthouse in this way, especially for the guests!
