The place and its location are good. The hotel has a pool, but it was out of service for maintenance and there was no information except a small sign at the pool that said “do not open – maintenance.” We chose this place because it had a pool, especially since it was very hot 🥵

The property sat just outside town, which worked well for me, and there was parking. I liked having a pool to cool off in the heat, and the room was comfortable with an amazing shower. The pool itself was a bit green, low on water, and could use some care, but it was still usable. The manager/owner was rude to me—apparently because I didn’t speak Portuguese—while he was friendly to my travel companions who did speak the language; I was trying to check in at reception when he shut the door in my face.
