“Vancouver accessible”
The location is close to metro and bus stops and the dining room is large. The rooms are badly soundproofed, and some are right next to the shared showers. Our room had a window‑mounted AC that left the window open onto the street. The Grandville street isn't well frequented in some spots.
Central location. Extremely noisy and the windows couldn’t be closed, so it was very loud all night.
“Way too expensive for a hostel and disappointing. The location was the only thing that kept us satisfied”
Good location. -The window was made out of thin plastic acrylic -The AC was dripping and flooded the room -There was no place to put clothes, no closets at all -The breakfast is cheap, zero type of protein and real bread. Everything was vegan and limited. - the room was tiny and there was no room to put luggage. - the lobby smells out of other people’s food - the shared plates and cutlery was dirty
The spot is perfect for exploring the city, but the staff didn't explain that breakfast is served in the adjacent brasserie and the selection is limited. Parking for the car is extremely pricey. The billing was unclear and had errors that needed correcting afterward. For the price, the service doesn't live up to it. Disappointing.
“Decent stay although a bit expensive”
Great location, nice amenities, everything was clean even though the guest traffic was quite heavy during my stay. It gets very noisy at night from the nightlife down the streets, and the hostel doesn’t have an elevator and has many stairs, so you might want to consider that if you have heavy suitcases.
