The location was perfect for us, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby and a walk to the music venue we were attending. Some people might think it needs updating, but we actually liked the old‑school vibe; it was charming.

It was a wonderful place to stay for the weekend during an event in the city! I loved the room—it was cozy and perfect. Facing the street, the city nightlife noise put us to sleep right away! Wifi was spotty but not annoying enough to bother me; for a business trip I’d head to a nearby coffee shop or public library instead.

I loved how small and comfortable the room was. While on the 3rd floor, my husband and I saw suits that Marilyn Monroe had stayed in, which was awesome. You couldn’t control the AC lol.

Forgot my phone charger in the room; I realized it only after calling a few hours later, but the staff couldn’t locate it. 🤷♂️

This place feels truly unique—never stayed anywhere like it before, with its distinct vibe and character that’s hard to find elsewhere. We were disappointed that the rooftop pool was under renovation; it would have been great to know before we arrived so we wouldn’t have gotten our grandson excited about “swimming on the roof.” Still, the staff were fantastic and overall it was an awesome stay.
