Loved the spot—clean, big room, right by stores and the TTC.
The room was huge—really spacious, which made everything feel easy.

“Custo benefício pela localização, mas precisa de uma limpeza completa.”
The reservation service was excellent and the staff were very attentive; the location and neighborhood are great—close to residential areas and just minutes from markets, a gym, bus stops, and large parks, making it ideal for long walks, and the neighborhood and neighbors were quiet. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a new air conditioner that worked perfectly, and the Wi‑Fi was good. However, I had trouble getting the key; no one was there to greet me and I had to use the camera's intercom at the front of the house. The lockbox wouldn’t open. The whole house needed a deep clean and there was a very strong smell of spices throughout, which is unpleasant on the first day but you get used to it after a few days. The carpet was in terrible condition, the stove was very dirty, and the bathroom was shared; other residents would leave it completely wet. A serious water leak and a showerhead that didn’t work were present. I notified the host several times; he said he would fix it, but he never did before my stay ended. The house was under renovation, so I couldn’t use the living room or the TV for a few days. Other guests ate my food and left dirty dishes in the sink for days. I had to take out the trash because no one else was cleaning anything. One night, close to midnight, one of the guests decided to sweep the entire house, waking everyone up.
“Good”
The house had all the gear I needed and a nice, calm vibe, so I could see myself coming back. The downside was the cleaning – the room wasn’t tidied often, the sheets stayed the same and a lingering odor showed up daily, which really annoyed me.
The surroundings were pleasant, but the television never turned on, which was a let‑down.
“Only for modest people with minimum requirements”
The kitchen was fine and the fridge actually worked, and the Wi‑Fi never dropped. My expectations are pretty low, so the room was just okay, but the whole place looks like it needs a serious renovation and I didn’t feel like I got my money’s worth. I was supposed to meet a friend there, but she never showed up – honestly, that turned out to be a relief given the state of the house. Toronto itself is a great city, though.
“Terrible!”
The place reeked, the shower head was broken, and the kitchen was full of cockroaches. On top of that the host was rude and condescending. I’d steer clear of this rental.
