“One of the best hotels I have stayed .”

The room was spacious with a super king‑size bed that was very comfortable, and I loved all the interior décor. The staff were all very friendly and professional. The pastries were amazing. The bed is slightly too soft for my liking – I usually prefer a bit harder beds.

“Luxury stay and kind staff”

My mum, sisters and I spent our first trip to Shanghai at the St Regis Jingan, and the experience from arrival to departure was fantastic. The concierge arranged a private transfer from the airport, and we were greeted and helped with customs and baggage as soon as we stepped off the plane. The drive was smooth and luxurious, exactly what we needed after a long flight. Staff at St Regis were exceptionally kind, welcoming and helpful, always ready to answer questions or meet any needs, and they were warm when assisting us. Breakfast was fresh, clean, well organised and delicious. The hotel’s location was within walking distance of nearby shopping and local restaurants, and a short drive took us to popular spots such as The Bund, Anfu Road, Yiyuan Temple, etc. Rooms were extremely clean, well kept daily, spacious and very comfortable for resting and sleeping. A special mention to Mr Peng for his kindness and happiness every day when we left and returned, and to Frankie for his excellent problem‑solving skills in navigating transportation when we headed to Beijing. Overall, a perfect stay, and we will definitely return to St Regis Jingan on future Shanghai visits.

The hotel was luxurious, in a quiet area near Nanjing West Road with luxury shops. Breakfasts were plentiful, and the Japanese restaurant was excellent. The air‑conditioning could not be adjusted because the temperature was set for the whole floor, so I had to turn it off to avoid freezing (21 °C). The toilet had its own life; water started leaking at random times, and the flush worked only intermittently.
