I loved the hostel’s layout – it’s spacious, clean, and offers many amenities, plus great food. There are paid and free activities, and the whole team was friendly and eager to help. I liked being surrounded by nature, feeling rested and relaxed, but the location is a bit inconvenient because it’s far from the center.

The Jacuzzi and the very comfortable room with a great balcony made for a fantastic stay, and the activities were nice. Nothing else to add.

Everything at this hostel is perfect and worth the price. The food is excellent – the best yogurt and fruit granola bowl of my trip, and the hot chocolate is delicious. There’s a swimming pool, hot tub, hammocks, plenty of comfy seating around the spacious hostel, table tennis, a pool table, and nightly activities such as family dinner, music bingo, and happy hour. Manager Charli was super helpful with booking tours; we could text him and he arranged all the activities we wanted, including pick‑up from the hostel for extreme canyoning, white‑water rafting, and quad‑bike rides to explore waterfalls. That made our trip so enjoyable and simple. We booked a deluxe queen room with a private balcony and bathroom, and it was just perfect – a comfortable bed, powerful hot shower, dressing gowns, and nice decor. The hostel provides everything you’d need for a stay in Baños. I’m glad we booked there. It’s located up a hill about a 10‑minute taxi ride (only about $3) from the center. The hostel is surrounded by trees and is very peaceful, in contrast to the noisy streets in the center, so I really appreciated having a quiet sanctuary to return to each day after enjoying all the fantastic activities Baños had to offer. The only downside is that there are no communal kitchen facilities to make your own breakfast and keep costs down, but the breakfast was so nice that I was happy to have a treat each morning.
