The old building was well kept and the spot was convenient, just a short drive to the beach or eateries, and the bedroom was nicely furnished with a comfy bed, but I didn't realize the room had a shared bathroom—rare nowadays—and the host was hard to reach, with no email instructions and only a note on the door to call the host.
The décor was beautiful, and when I asked my husband, neither of us could think of anything to add—everything was just lovely.
