Hotel Carmel

The breakfast was good, one of the concierges was very friendly, the other was more dry but efficient. The room lighting was poor, the windows were very tall and couldn’t be opened or closed easily, and the patio noise was annoying.

The location was great because I was in meetings a block away. The area is very good, with shops and nice restaurants. The hotel is small and the service is good. There are good places to eat nearby. The hotel would benefit from a renovation, the carpet isn’t very hygienic, the furniture looks old, the spaces are fine, the sheets and towels shouldn’t be changed daily, and a lot of water and soap is used.

The price‑quality was bad. During the days I stayed, the room was never cleaned, we ran out of toilet paper and had to request a replacement at reception which was very low quality. The bathroom was in poor condition; the lock didn’t work, the shower had a lot of limescale, water was scarce, the room was small, and the TV couldn’t be set up to use other apps with my accounts.
