We had a wonderful stay at Pousada Casa dos Autores; the place is super cozy, spotless, quiet and steeped in history, with a ten‑out‑of‑ten service that made us feel right at home, and the breakfast was delicious, featuring local produce and fresh cakes.

It was interesting in terms of location, but otherwise very basic and noisy because of a festival, and it wasn’t really isolated. If it weren’t a children’s lodge, there was nothing for them—no pool or games. They charged us for an extra child even though we didn’t change rooms because my daughter came at the last minute, which I found unfair given the place, the equipment, and especially the inconvenience we endured.

The location is perfect. The hospitality and friendliness of everyone on staff are outstanding. Breakfast is very tasty. The inn keeps the historic town’s architectural style.

The spot is great, just a 5‑minute walk from Paraty’s historic center. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. The pousada has a charming classical‑music theme, with each room named after a famous composer. The beautiful garden offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
