The resort was charming in the Thai Lotus style, with friendly staff and excellent breakfast, just a quarter‑hour drive from Old City. However, the landing near the bed was a real hazard—my partner almost fell several times, and the stairs were a major issue, though the room itself was lovely.

It was a beautiful retreat: clean, quiet, and cozy, with all staff friendly, helpful, and attentive to every detail. The only downside was a nearby construction site that made early mornings noisy and dusty, which meant we couldn’t use our great outdoor bathtub. Still, we’d come back and the information was useful.

The hotel sits in a peaceful riverside setting, a short walk from the city center and the beach; the pool is lovely and the food and drinks are top‑class. I only booked for two nights, which is a shame.
