Very welcoming. Lovely setting. Good car park. Beautifully designed and kept. Excellent breakfast and lovely host. Everything that you could want, and what a collection of whiskey!. Nothing

Emiko, the owner, met us and showed us to our room. The room was large and comfortable. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and we had tea, coffee and biscuits. The bathroom had both a bath and shower and was very clean. Breakfast was all very nice, with a good choice. This was pre‑ordered the night before. An evening meal was also available, along with a small, but well stocked bar. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

到着した瞬間、全てが穏やかに統率されているところに驚きました。 部屋は、完璧に整備され、清潔に清掃され、それでいて温もりのあるセンスの良さ。なかなかこれらが全てある宿はありません。 夕食も大変美味しく、この食事のためにだけでも泊まりに来る価値があります。朝ごはんは暖かな雰囲気で1日を始めるのにぴったりでした。 オーナーの惠美子さんが全てを仕切っておられるのですが、スタッフの皆さんとの調和がこの宿の良さを際立たせているのだろうと感心しました。 世界中のウイスキー好きの方もそうでない方も、このお酒に造詣の深い惠美子さんと会話しながら、琥珀色の天の恵みを楽しめます。 湖水地方としては西にありますが、ぜひここまで足を伸ばし、カンブリアの自然全てを満喫するにはぴったりの宿でした。 お世話になりました。ありがとうございました。. 話しすぎて、飲みすぎて、時間がなくなること。

Couldn’t recommend it more. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A special thanks to Emiko, who was an absolute star—her local recommendations were brilliant! The location is ideal, super peaceful and just a short drive from a gorgeous beach.

The place was spotless and cozy, with breathtaking views and a spot‑on location, but the bar ran out of drinks in the evenings.
