The staff were lovely—everyone was polite and kind—and the food was delicious, from room service to the bar to the hotel restaurant. The beds were a little small, so I would have liked more space to avoid feeling cramped, and the sleep quality was definitely affected.

“Classy, Clean Rooms. Smaller than usual but comfortable”

The room was spotless and the staff were helpful, and the location is simply amazing—just a walk to Broadway and most loop spots, with Michigan Avenue only a 10‑minute Uber away. The on‑site restaurant is really good. The rooms feel smaller than other JW Marriotts, probably because the building is older, but they’re still comfortable and clean. I was charged a different rate than what I paid online and was told to sort it out with Booking, so that wasn’t very helpful.

“Satisfactory but not outstanding.”

The room was cozy and the bed was comfortable. We ended up with a courtyard view instead of a city view, and the price didn’t reflect that difference.

“Booking is fraudulently claiming breakfast included hotel does not recognize it”

The hotel didn’t acknowledge that breakfast was included in the rate, so I was charged extra for it.
