The price and service were decent, the garden was pleasant and the setting very quiet, and the harbor was a short walk away. Breakfast was simple yet plentiful, and bicycles could be stored. Everything felt a bit too museum‑like and dated, with worn carpet; a renovation is urgently needed, and the bikes have to be carried up several steps.

The hotel’s location near Port de Dinan is good, but it’s best suited for someone who wants a basic rustic French experience without modern amenities; everything is very old, the access is steep, and the proprietor is very friendly.

I loved the location and the endless garden; the room was so cute that you could leave the windows and shutters open all night, and breakfast was lovely, but I bumped my head on the sloped ceiling above the bed. 😂
