The hotel's proximity to the central ward, Pontocho Alley, and other local attractions made it an ideal choice.
The room was enormous, spotlessly clean, and modern, making it the perfect place to rest after a long day.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home.
The bathroom was a highlight, with a fantastic shower and plenty of hot water.

“Perfect choice for our 4 night stay in Kyoto”
The accommodation is comfortable and the location is excellent, right in the heart of the Gion district. It’s a short walk from the train station and close to many cultural attractions.
“Zentral im Gion Viertel - Empfehlenswert”
The hotel sits right in the Gion district on a quiet side street, and after asking for a peaceful room I was placed in a Deluxe double‑room, number 401, at the back of the building. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and the property even provides a washer and dryer like most hotels. Restaurants, bars, the subway and a bus stop are all within walking distance, though we mostly used Uber. The room was spacious enough, with a hallway closet, a separate toilet, a bathroom with a shower, two single beds that were comfortable, a fridge and a quietly running air‑conditioner. For a hotel of this class everything was fine, and I’d recommend sending your luggage to the next hotel a couple of days before checkout for a fee (we did it from Kyoto to Tokyo). The only downsides were that the room was only cleaned every three days and there was no breakfast offered – the hotel is tiny, which I knew beforehand – and the “corner” area felt a bit cramped.
“Great staff really helpful. Excellent room and great value”
The place was clean and modern.
“Un emplacement de choix pour cet hôtel avec un rapport qualité-prix imbattable!”
The location is excellent, right in the heart of Gion. The room was very good, clean, with quality equipment. Great value for money. The staff were very friendly.
“niet voor herhaling vatbaar”
I liked the bed, but the room felt damp because of the humidity outside, so it wasn’t fresh.
