The old hotel was charming. The owner was very kind and welcoming, and the room was very clean and comfortable with large French windows overlooking the traditional rooftops and street below. The restaurant was excellent and very reasonable.

The overall vibe felt authentic, but the shower head hung a tad too low for the big Dutch guy.

The room was clean, breakfast was ordinary, and the advice to dine on site with eyes closed was spot on—delicious. The atmosphere was fantastic, thanks to the staff and the charismatic owner who always took care and were kind. Well done!

The location at the foot of the castle is ideal and the staff are very friendly. The breakfast buffet is complete and very fresh. However, the cleanliness of the common areas is borderline; the inside of the shower door is dirty, and the breakfast room feels like a cafeteria.
