The stay was pleasant and comfortable; the rooms were spotless, the staff were welcoming and helpful, and the simple yet tasty breakfast offered a nice selection of traditional kuih.

“Santika the best.”

The place was tidy, well‑organized and fully equipped; we stayed in the Embah house for a two‑night trip with my best friend and enjoyed three days there, surrounded by fruit trees in a village setting. The owner let us pick fruit and even gave us rambutans and pandan coconuts twice. The pool uses natural water but was still kept clean. There’s a river behind Santika, though it’s too steep for bathing, and Sg Congkak is a short five‑minute walk away. The kitchen had everything—blender, rice cooker, cookware, plates, bowls and cups. A playground and open area in front of the house kept the kids occupied. Breakfast for our ten guests covered two days, with a hearty main dish, two kinds of kuih and a jug of teh tarik. The owner was responsive on WhatsApp. Overall I’d rate it 9.9 out of 10. The only flaw was the thin single‑bed mattress, which could be improved.

“Fully satisfied!”

The village vibe was great, breakfast was incredibly delicious with nasi lemak, fried chicken, various traditional kuih, and teh tarik—so tasty. The owner was generous, giving us plenty of local fruit like pulasan (my favorite) and duku, as well as plenty of drinking water, ice cubes, and iced lemon tea. The house was spotless, especially the bathroom. All my friends loved staying here, were very satisfied, and I would recommend it to others. Thanks to Santika for the excellent hospitality and the wonderful memories.
